Your hand is a story...A road map of your life

Below is a list of the most common questions I’m asked. If you need any further information, please let me know.

Question: Terrie, what do you want people to know?

I want to offer people an opportunity to go beyond the prepackaged images they have of a hand reader and hand reading. I want to reveal some of the scientific knowledge that exists in palmistry and the value of it in contemporary culture. I like to bring to the reader’s awareness that there is no magic or mystery involved, or a dimly lit room with a gypsy fortune-teller dressed-you know how-with paraphernalia of the occult all over the room, and someone telling you your fortune. Instead, hand analysis has evolved into a science predicated upon a set of criteria as rigid as any in physics. It is a systematic body of knowledge with fundamental laws which are clearly understood and properly applied.

Question: Palmistry is also used to reveal aspects of the personality, isn’t it?

Yes, it’s an opportunity to see yourself the way you really are; not the way you think you are. There’s a big difference! When I give a reading, it’s like going to a psychologist’s office for the first time, and instead of you opening up and telling him or her your story, I tell you! I’ll also tell you the emotions you have attached to your past experiences and how they can cause your probable future-not fate. I touch upon how you can improve your health problems, and how you can handle in a new way your personal relationships. I can help you decide what career or vocation you are best suited for. If you are blaming the outside world for life being the way it is, I’ll assist you to understand how your personal beliefs have, in fact, caused your experiences. I tap into your subconscious.

Question: Terrie, what do you actually do when reading a palm?

I first examine and compare both hands. I suppose I’m tuning in at that point. I’ll study the texture, consistency, flexibility, shape and color-especially color-that tells me a lot. I’ll then look at the development of the mounts and fingers, noting details. Then my attention goes to the lines. By now, I’ve built up a clear picture of the individual’s character and inherent tendencies. Believe it or not, all that only takes a few seconds! Each hand is a story to me; a kind of road map to their life. So, now, I see their story. Something different stands out to me with each person, and that’s what I talk about first. I don’t start at any particular place. I really am quite unique as a palmist because I have my own style based on many years of experience, study, making mistakes and by learning from trial and error what works and what doesn’t work. It’s possible for me to predict with accuracy how a person is  likely to act in any given set of circumstances. I could tell you what you’d be like married, what job you are best suited for, your health problems and where in your body they are located, your talents, if accidents are around you, how smart you are, your vitality, how you feel emotionally toward your Mother and Father, your beliefs about yourself and the world and much more!

I’m not a fortune-teller. I do not tell you what to do, when you are going to marry, or how many kids you are going to have. That’s your decision-not mine. I will tell you if you want to marry, if you are emotionally ready and what you are doing to prevent yourself from having prince or princess charming in your life. I show you “you” – your fears, your secrets, your motivations and your way of thinking. I assist clients to be responsible for their lives and to take their lives out of the realm of luck, fate or circumstances. I believe our lives are not preordained from birth, and we do have influence over our fate! Predictions may come out of a reading, but they are just part of the picture. If there is a reason for the client to know what’s going to happen, then it will come out in the reading, but whether that prediction will come true depends on the decision the client makes. If you want to know the future, the most qualified and the most accurate person to ask is yourself.

Question: Can the lines in the hand change?

Yes, the lines change regularly as your thinking changes. It’s brain directed activity. I can read a person 4 months later and say all new things to them.

Question: Do you tell a client everything that you perceive in a reading?

I tell what I see as clearly as I can verbalize it. I have no right to judge and decide what is right or wrong for a client to hear, the information comes from THEM. The reading is a service I offer for their growth. I’m not necessarily out to make them happy or to say pleasing things to them. I don’t patronize people. Sometimes I am asked to just tell someone only the “good” news. I tell them that I’m not judging what I see, so I don’t know the difference between “good” or “bad” for them.

Question: Is it possible to describe the essence of what you’ve learned in your work?

We need to take their focus out of the future; we’re forgetting the present. It’s the present that shapes oue future, and in the present is where the point of power is. If I tell you all about your future, it negates the fact that you are responsible for the direction of your life.  All the problems we have, all the obstacles we face, all the people and the events that we experience, we alone have drawn to ourselves to accomplish a purpose in learning. If we don’t like where we are at or what is happening to us, we can change that by changing our thinking about ourselves.  Everyone, including myself, is 100 percent responsible for everything in our lives-the best and the worst! So, the outside world is just a reflection of what is going on inside us. Life is very simple-what we give out, we get back. If we are confused, it’s because we have lost our capacity for listening to our true self and are no longer conscious.  I help people to “remember” themselves, and in that way, avoid or resolve personal anxiety.
